Windows Media Player 11 skips every other song Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1:48 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Yola (15 messages posted) Hi everyone, my friend's WMP has this strange behaviour: When he loads more than one song, the player only plays every other song: for example, it plays track 1, then jumps to track 3, etc. This happens with every playlist. He picks a folder, then selecs all the songs he wants to play, the player plays song 1, then song 3... If he wants to listen to every song, he has to be there when a song ends, then pick the next one. Random playing is deselected. Responses to this message: WMP is strange period.
