OK, I just got done typing a painfully long reply to one of the threads, and about
3 characters before posting, the browser suddenly went "back" a page, as if I had
hit the back-arrow key.
This happens more often than I can count.
On some occasions, subsequently hitting the forward-arrow key will cause the post
to reappear in the message box, but more often than not, it does not. I.e., my message
is lost.
I am not doing anything weird (ctrl keys) when it happens, but I may be using the
shift. Is there, in fact, some ctrl key combo responsible for back-arrow? (such
as ^B was in the days of unix). If that's the case, perhaps I *am* hitting ctrl
where I should be hitting shift.
I should note that I am *USUALLY* in the habit of typing posts offline and cut/pasting
to the forum later -- for this very reason -- but sometimes I get cocky and start
thinking I can actually make it thru a full post typed live to the forum!
How silly of me.
