Windows Explorer Problems EDIT Copy/etc Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 7:46 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Philip Lloyd (2 messages posted) Hi there I just installed a Roxio software product EasyMediaCreator10, having been advised to use the Widows Clean Installer Tool. Now I find that when I am in Windows Explorer, if I do any of the EDIT commands such as Cut/Paste or Right Click Drag, Windows fires up the Installer and tries to instal (in this case) Roxio Easy CD 6, which I thought I had completely removed. After I cancel these popups, the PASTE or MOVE is correctly executed. I did a System backup (System Restore) and Registry backup before doing the instal, but can anybody suggest what might have gone wrong, and how I might correct it other than restoring one or other of these files? I am running XP Professional SP3.
