Copy/Paste indeed works, in my experience. For all file types, to my knowledge, what
went wrong seems always at cut/paste. However, I just use
Microsoft utility "AccessEnum"
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897332.aspx
to check my files.
There seems to have more files went wrong than I expected. Some files went wrong
dated back to the last time my computer was infected. (Presumably the virus changed
it, or some of the antivirus program I installed changed it.)
Today I used drag/drop, copy/drop and even cut/drop files to copy some photos they
seems o.k. But those files display strangly read/write permission with "NT AUTHORITY"
(what is this account? I never created it). Other (normal) files seems to be blank
in this field. Those file went wrong displays "access denied".
I will try to post my registry later.
