Heh. 2 days ago I started getting the same problems. I just updated to IE 8, so I
thought that was the reason. I was trying to troubleshoot remotely every time and
nothing worked. 100% CPU on spoolsv.exe and only killing it helped.
Well, now that I can see the computer in front of me, the problem is clear. The USB
cable is unplugged. Windows, however, seems very confused by the fact.
Good luck with your problems. Hope they're fixed just as easily ;)
