Dear Lord Fog,
I have the same exact problem, but it's whenever I try plugging in a USB storage
device. Some work. Most do not. I tried your fix but instead of "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ENUM\PCI"
I tried "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ENUM\USBSTOR". I set all the
"Disk&Ven_" to Full Access, restarted (running XP) and I'm still getting the error.
Any other suggestions? Much appreciated.
