Hi Everyone, about a year ago, I bought a GXT Serial-ATA Two port PCI adaptor as I wanted to add 2 more hard drives. At the time, I added 2x20 Gb IDE drives and they worked ok. Now I've gotten my hands on 2x250 GB SATA drives (which are the starting point of my new Quad-core machine but I'm getting it piece-by-piece due to spousal resistance ) So I hook up the Drives onto the pci card, start the whole thing up and disk management sees (and is currently formatting) only one of 2 drives. I've refreshed and re-refreshed and it's not seeing #2 The BIOS sees both on startup as primary master 1 & 2 if that's got anything to do with it and the ALI Raid setup also sees both but I'm not sure of how that thing works anyway. So why is the system not seeing SATA HD # 2 ??? My PC is a ASUS P4 VP Mx 2 GB DDR P4 3.0 Thanks in advance !
