i have a amd athlon 3500+ cpu (2.2 ghz) with 256mb of ati radeon 2400 pro graphics
card and 2gb or ram.
the tearing is seen while dragging windows horizontally across my screen (LCD 24"
samsung). it is also seen while playing windowed videos such as in youtube and in
quicktime player, the visualizations in windows media player also tear.
the aero theme in vista doesn't tear at all, while in xp classic mode does. So all
i wanted to know was, is it the problem of the operating system? or is there any
theme for xp which doesn't tear just like aerotheme in vista?
if you have an xp system you could try it, i am pretty sure you can see it , no matter
how good graphics you have.
I hope to hear from you
thanks.
