So I had this virus on my computer but was able to get rid of it using AVG. However,
now I get error messages when I try to open a program or when I turn the computer
on. They are "bad image" messages for exe files. My guess is when opening any processes
that normally run or need to run to open a program, they have been affected by either
the virus or the deletion of the virus and things that came with it. when i click
on these 'bad image' messages that come up (at least 20-25 come up after rebooting),
the programs open and all is well for the most part. What can I do to get rid of
these messages? If I need to go back to a previous date when the computer was ok,
thats fine,; or reformat the hard drive if necessary, i can do that too, but prefer
not to only as a last resort. The computer is definitely usable, but now these messages
make it annoying. Thanks for any help I can get.
