I am running windows XP. I am unable to connect to the internet thought my Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter(LNE100TX v4) even though I have the correct cable connected and I know all other hardware (router and modem) are working (I can connect my laptop with the exact same cable). I am told that there is no network cable connected. I have enabled and disabled the Linksys card and my 1394 net connection several times. There are no yellow warning in the control panel. I have even installed another network card, that I know works, uninstalled and disabled the linksys card, and rebooted. The other network card gets the same message. Any ideas Oh Yeah, Dell Dimension 4700, 2 gigs of memory etc. The change from connection to no connection happened without any new software, hardware, etc. being installed. Thanks, Ed
