I really don't want to get into a big malware removal thing here, but curiosity just
gets the best of me. I would like to take a look at your bootlog if you would.
Restart your computer and press F8 before windows loads to pull up the startup menu.
Choose, "enable boot logging" and then boot your operating system.
Once the operating system is booted, open My Computer and navigate to the C:\windows
folder and find the ntbtlog.txt file. Open it in notepad. Scroll to the bottom
of the file then move up one line at a time until you find the first occurence (from
the bottom) of a line that looks like "Service Pack x..." When you find that line,
copy from that line all the way to the bottom of the file. Paste the results to
the forum and be sure to check the option to "preserve spacing" in the forum preferences.
Thanks.
Again, unless it isn't going to take a lot of time, I would like to avoid talking
you through removing malware and I would rather defer you to a malware removal forum.
But, if the bootlog is clean I may also request a hijackthis log. I should at least
be able to tell you if you are infected so you know where to go from there.
