Monday, January 5, 2009 at 6:01 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mark (422 messages posted) Check in your "network connections" on your "local area connection" to see what IP address your are getting, if it is a valid IP address, i.e. not 169.x..x.x., or 192.168.x.x., then more than likely your security software could be blocking your connection, also, try booting into "safe mode w/networking" and see what happens that way....
