Friday, January 23, 2009 at 9:56 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Alex (1 messages posted) I have a problem!!!! okay, i went into system>advanced and i selected what i thought was the correct copy, and unchecked "time to ask blah blah" then i went into EDIT and editted the boot.ini and took out the bottom line which i thought was the wrong copy of windows... but i think it was the right one or something or i just f---ed everything up! HELP!!! now when i boot up it says: " Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information.
