I had this problem too:

SOLUTION that worked for me- The problematic file was a link to "shared docs on desktop".
I am unsure if this caused a problem because I was not on my home network i.e. connected
to the "desktop" referred to by the link, but upon removal the Sendto issue no longer
occurred.
Note: I couldn't remove this via the dos window. I went via explorer then clicked
on it and once highlighted pressed delete. Note it took about 1 minute between clicking
on it and it showing up highlighted. Be patience.
Hope this works for somebody.
Cheers
