I just tried again and got the same result. The final line on the screen read; multi(0)disk(0)rdsk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\giveio.sys When I restarted the computer it loaded perfectly though a folder ATI.ACE was open on the screen. Hope these provide clues to somebody!
