It had nothing to do with the anti-virus program. I had recently signed up for a
on-line back-up service which automatically backed up my files. It went over my
allotted quota. The error message displayed only a icon and the error message.
The icon, similar to the anti-virus program icon, was not recognized until now.
Hope this helps someone in the future.
Keep it simple. Thanks.
