Thanks. In fact I disabled it using Startup CPL. I tried booting into Safe Mode yesterday and it was successful for some reason.It didn't recognise my webcam though and wanted to load drivers for it.I simply unplugged the USB lead and then put it back and everything was fine. Thanks to all those who contributed.
