Having same problem. Did as suggested (bring up task bar and type in "explorer exe., AND regedit HKEY_Local etc.) but still get the error message "Appl. failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005) Click on OK to terminate application. Ran Zone Alarm Virus Scan...and CC reg cleaner...any ideas?
