Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Ive never experienced anything like this before..
I've recently brought a new pc & everytime i try logon to windows i get the.. ''your
password is incorrect'' dialog and the only way to logon is if i press the ctrl,
alt & delete keys and logon as the Admin (not passworded)
At first i could initially logon but if my screen saver kicked in and passworded
it if i tried to logon i got the incorrect password box.
And then it was vice versa(i could'nt logon initially but i could after the screensaver)
And now i cant do Neither.
My system is:
Win XP Pro
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
Pentium(r) Duel-Core CPU
E5200 @ 2.50GHz
2.50Ghz, 2.00 GB of RAM
I've been doing some 'Trial & Error' an During this i Have:
Tried 3 different password's.
Checked over and over again that i ent typing the password incorrect, cap locks ent
on ect.
Installed a copy of XP Home(which i've been using on my other Pc with no problem's
for about a year)
Also i Installed Pro and went straight to user account's before installing anyhting
else and passworded it, restarted and Still to no Avail.
If Anyone has any ideas please throw them this way
cause im at my wits ent now :)
Thanks in Advance.
Chris.
