Windows Media Player 11 Monday, March 30, 2009 at 6:28 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by stymie222 (69 messages posted) I have lost the ability to open Windows Media Player 11 This could have been caused by registry changes due to a CC registry cleaning application. I have rolled back the player to (9) which works. I have used the player and then applied any updates necessary. I have MP10 which works and have applied the update to MP11. The player will not open. WMP is in the tool bar but not on the desktop. Minimizing will bring the "Mini Player" to the toolbar but is unusable.
