I have a Toshiba. The BIOS setup is F2 and there are tabs that say Main, Advanced, Display, Security, and Boot. I went into every one but I didn't see anything that said "caching" or "shadowing". Are they called something else? Would choosing the "return to default settings" help my situation any?
