Sylvania flat screen monitor, #Cl772b Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 10:17 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Beverly (2 messages posted) I have been experiencing trouble with turning the monitor off (it wouldn't) for awhile so I was leaving it and my computer on all the time; however, yesterday I needed to add memory and turned off the computer. The monitor wouldn't shut off. When I turned the computer back on, the monitor screen, although on, stayed black. We connected it to 2 other computers with the same result. Any suggestions?
