Laptop switches off in safe mode Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 1:47 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jon Camilleri (71 messages posted) Win 2003 Server password My laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro 8210) was noted to be quite slow lately, and, I thought I'd troubleshoot before a re-installation. When booting to safe mode, after it has logged on, the power goes off. It seems more like a hardware fault, however, the funny thing is that this does not happen in normal mode. Has anyone encountered similar issues? Any ideas?
