I'm working on a machine that's probably infected with malware- XP SP2 and the above browser which is some sort of badged IE6 :-( I'm running some scans as I type this, and thought I should disable all the IE add-ons (getting the IE encountered a problem and has to close" message regularly) but I cannot find "Manage add-ons" in any menu ! Has anyone come across this, and is there another way to start IE6 without any add-ons ? Another oddity, if my memory is working that is: when I update MalwareBytes, the site it goes to is securitywonks.net - is that normal ? Nothing much else seems to be wrong - this does look like browser related problems. Any ideas gratefully received :-)
