IE just says, within moments of being opened "IE has encountered a problem and must
close".
BHO demon found nothing, I couldn't find anything ActiveX-based and there's no option
to manage add-ons !
I've done a very thorough job of malware scanning and SFC, so I had thought of SP2
as it refreshes the IE6 installation.
But HJT is a good idea and I will post a log in a couple of days if that's OK with
you (didn't like to assume) ?
Oh - another thought - when I'm next there I'll take a look in the Event Log.
