Delete Thai language

I run an Original english version of XP professionell.

During a visit to Thailand my laptop was used by a Thai person - so we installed
Thai as a second language.

Later I uninstalled the Thai language - even disabled the "Advanced text service"
in the Control Panel's System configuration window.
Nothing helps - I still end up with Thai.

Certain english websites and forms are shown in Thai.
Such as all Microsoft Support Webpages.
Even when I change the setting on that site to english all headings and more is still
in Thai.
Also searches are returned in Thai.

Grateful for any suggestion

Wolf
