I ran a Google search for: Event ID 26 Source Application Popup: explorer.exe- Application
Error to see if I'd come across a reasonable sounding piece of advice.

One possibility I came across is a corrupt file system, and to run chkdsk C: /f
> from a command prompt window to correct any errors. You probably know, but
it'll need you to reboot, before it can run. Hopefully, that's successful. Post back
and let us know. Someone more knowledgeable than myself, may have some advice to
add.

Reason is, Hijack This logs aren't to be posted, unless they're requested. Too often
users think that's going to help solve a problem, but it's not the answer to everything.
I doubt that's going to tell us anything related to this type of problem.
