XP Pro moved to RAID 0 Diskset will NOT boot!

The following worked on System A: I had XP Pro SP3 installed and running on a normal,
standalone SATA disk. I decided I wanted to move it to a RAID 0 storage set to increase
performance, so I updated and installed all the RAID chipset and RAID drivers and
such that I knew I'd need to run XP on the RAID, onto the existing XP system FIRST.
Then I enabled the RAID controller in the BIOS and created a RAID 0 array, after
which I used Acronis Disk Director v10 to copy all the partitions from the old standalone
disk to the RAID array, then removed the source disk, leaving only the RAID array.
It worked perfectly, right from first boot. Hooray!
So next I did the same exact thing for System B: Installed all the drivers XP would
need to run on a RAID array, enabled the RAID controller, created a RAID 0 array,
and again used DD 10 to copy the partitions to the RAID array.
Only THIS time, it would NOT boot. I didn't get a BSOD, I didn't get a crash. Instead,
I saw a few blank lines (the implied cursor moved down the left side of the screen
several times), and nothing else. It just sat there.
Here are the RAID differences between the two systems: System A is hosted on an Intel
DQ35MP mobo which supports RAID with its onboard Intel ICH9-based chipset. While
System B's mobo is an ASUS P5WDG2 WorkStation Pro, which has two RAID chipsets: (1):
An onboard Intel ICH7R Southbridge for Intel RAID support (which I must not use with
my configuration for technical reasons), and (2): An onboard Marvell 88SE614x (I
think "x" is 5 in my case) SATAII-RAID chipset. I enabled it in the system BIOS
and set up System B's RAID array on the Marvell adapter.
*SO*: What might I be doing wrong? I'd very much appreciate any solutions or suggestions.
Also, does anyone know where I can find the latest Marvell 88SE614x driver and related
software, especially the latest "Marvell RAID Utility (MRU)? Marvell's web site
doesn't provide *ANYTHING* other than their LAN product's drivers! All the rest
of what I can find using Google appears to be for other Marvell RAID products, or
at least other versions than the Marvell 88SE614x (for some reason, many people use
alternative names for the 88SE614x). The ASUS web sites haven't helped me much regarding
Marvell's 88SE614x, although it would appear to an average person as if there's quite
a bit of Marvell RAID drivers and support on my Asus P5WDG2 WS Pro mobo's download
page...
Thanks for reading all that, many thanks who try to help!
