You have a hardware/bios problem. XP will not load over a corrupt machine level environment.
You might as well try loading it on your calculator.
Try another keyboard and then re-flash your bios, as already suggested. I would,
however, go through the "press the power button to turn off, re-start successfull"
sequence, then boot the flash diskette.
