I Agree with Martin.
Ive used Acronis True image 10 for some time
(As noted below)

When only minor issues arise, i may use system restore.
At times tho system restore has major issues, making me start in Safe mode, then 
even sometimes wont work.

Turn to True Image.
Install windows/Drivers:- FULL Backup.
Install software/ :- "Incremental" backup
(Only the changes after your first backup)
etc...
