I had a mouse freeze the other day, upon reboot there is a BSOD with "unmountable boot drive". Suspect it´s virus or malware. Im trying to use the XP install to repair and use chkdsk, but upon booting from the CD I just get "cannot install atapi.sys" after a while, then press any key and it aborts the installation. Is there any way to recover from this? I really dont need a broken computer at the moment.
