Hi, I have an XP box that is having MTU problems. I can use ping -l -f XXXX to get to the gateway and have used this command to figure out what the MTU should be. I set the MTU in the registry, reboot, and then the MTU setting that used to work is now too large.....I reduce the MTU by repeating the procedure and the MTU is now only useable at an even lower number. I have tried this several times with similar results. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? HELP! John
