I have the same problem desribed here with Windows Installer not being properly installed.
I have followed your steps down to 'close registry editor' but then when it says
'return to overview and register the Msiexec file' I don't know how to do that so
it hasn't worked. Any further help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
