Thanks, Jacob. I'll try it and report what happens. If as suggested the drives are
bad and I have to replace, is there a reason the writer would sometimes work, that
is it seems happy to burn music files but not data? Can't be that I'm using the wrong
type of disk to do the job. I have both music and data CDs (tho' I've never really
noticed the difference before in years past).
