As an aside do you even need/want .NET installed? If you have no applications that 
require it, all versions can go. 

Also, there are alternative sites you can download updates from. I refuse to even 
visit the update site any longer. Who knows what all info they gather from the scan. 
Knowing M$, more than they need!
