java download problem Monday, July 6, 2009 at 9:55 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Rick (116 messages posted) I am trying to upgrade to the newest version of Java, but i am getting an error, saying that i don't have access to the C:\Program Files\Java\jre6 directory. It's trying to write an executable called "zipper.exe". Anyone know what is going on here? I did use a piece of software to uninstall the previous version of java, and i still get this error.
