Thanks for all the "don't install .NET then" or "don't use Auto Updates" but this
is an adult teaching environment that I manage. Student's need the .NET functionality
for some course materials so we have to keep updating .NET, just not the "ClickOnce
feature".
Why do Microsoft automatically install software to third party applications? If this
is such a good "feature" why not just upload to the Mozilla Add-on repository?
