Please just look at your board & read off the model no. of your sound chip. The rule
is that you always go to the original chip manufacture site to get the correct driver.
After all they made the chip the reseller just stuck it on a bord or pci card & made
exagurated claims on what it can do to explain the price tag. Hell he might even
supply you with a driver thats for a more advanced model & doesnt match your chip
to make it look like something its not. Just uninstall all drivers on the chip &
go to the c-media site http://www.cmedia.com.tw/driverdownload/e_tech_01.htm.
