Recovery of encrypted profile folders - howto?

Hi all! I'm stuck helping my father recover his dead XP install. I've been using my SATA to USB to recover most of the stuff, but am stuck trying to get his profile folders (My Documents, Desktop etc). I can copy files in Recovery Mode, but we're talking hundreds of files, and the lack of an xcopy or the ability to use wildcard is KILLING me! Anyway, could someone recommend a data-recovery tool out there that will allow me to pull the encrypted contents of this profile off the disk? I presume that my SAM file is still intact, so there's got to be some way to do this!
