IE8 isn't working Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 5:32 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by vishu (30 messages posted) Hi All, when I switch to safe mode then IE8 will open up. I tried to disable all the add-ons in safe mode but its still not working in the normal mode. My system is fully updated and It was working perfectly till I tried Bitdefender total security. I didnt like it and so using BitDefender_Uninstall_Tool.exe I uninstalled it and switched to KIS2009 which was installed on my system (before installing BDTS2009) a year ago. I tried to uninstall IE8. IE6 still working and again updated my system with IE8 with no luck. I already use Firefox as main browser but its like an annoyance that IE8 isnt working. Scanning done with KIS09, M'byte and SuperAntiSyware; nothing found. Please help..... Thanks!!
