My hard drive disk disappeared! Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 5:20 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Talino Bruno (85 messages posted) I was running an antispyware program in safe mode and it froze, I rebooted into normal mode and my E drive was missing from the My Computer, Hard disk drives section. The programs that were found in the E drive do not have any icons and can't be loaded. I am using XP SP 2, not sure what my hard drive manufacturer is.
