No it's not Directly Norton, It's actually Veritas Software, which was acquired by
Norton.
I didn't find it on my System till I checked the Service you shut down in Msconfig>Services,
and there it was, "Logical Disc Manager Administrative services, Microsoft Corp,
Veritas software.
