I have a comment about Remove the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant (ClickOnce) Firefox Extension:

I just installed Firefox 3.5 on both my desktop and laptop. Fortunately I also ran across your article at the same time. Thank you. I followed the instructions exactly for both machines and the instructions worked!

As you had indicated, I was one of many who had dumbly downloaded it months before without having the faintest clue it was malware.

Almost instantly . . . The Evil Empire Struck Back.

Within seconds of completing the deletion on both machines, Micro$oft flashed its daintly little yellow shield in my tray indicating updates were read for my machine.

And the update Micro$oft wanted me to install ? . . . you guessed it . . . the very same Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant Firefox Extension which I had just deleted seconds earlier. Not only is MS installing malware, if you delete it, they want you to immediately reinstall it. For the record, I wasn't a sucker this second time. I didn't download it.

Believe me, people need to be warned just how much Micro$oft wants to destroy Firefox. Publicize all over the internet this back door malware MS is trying to ram into everyone's machine.
