Thanks so much, Ricer46, and I've just found out you are SO right that an old model won't have the model # inside my computer! Since you kindly asked me to state the reason for needing it, here it is: I have WinXP home; IE6; Panasonic NONflat monitor. I tried calling Panasonic Support but can't get it without the model number. The Problem: When I am on my Outlook Express email frames (or pages), where it's shown how many items there are read or unread on Inbox, or Sent Items, or Drafts, etc., part of the number is hidden. I tried the horizontal button in front of the monitor but I can't get it to move or to change that "2" that it has. I know it's behind the monitor but it is TOO HEAVY for me to push it away from the walls surrounding it. When they brought this monitor over, my desk got terribly scratched; hence hoped to find the model # inside. I did try a number of other suggestions but none worked. Thanks so much for suggesting to post an explanation. Maybe someone has the answer somehow. :o) Adela
