Thank you for your reply. I am familiar with the task mgr and agree with your suggestion. However, I was able to access the place just before safe mode where it asks if I want to go to a restore point. I set it to go back a couple of weeks and the computer is now doing so. After that, I will go to the task mgr and check out the percentages. The two together hopefully will help. Thanks again.
