I'm on XP SP3 and none of these 'fix it via Windows' works for me. All they do is
reset *all* my folders and files to 'view icons' (even all those which I had already
manually and painstakingly changed to 'view details').
Is there any Windows *.INI (or other config) file in which we can set the 'view'
default to 'details'? If yes, where and which parameter(s) should we change to what
- so that 'view details' becomes the default for everything (folders, subfolders,
files, etc.)?
It's about time Microsoft understood that some of us can read and we don't need pictures
to help us do that.
Thanks in advance.
