Home Networking works only one way Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 8:23 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by RandyM (73 messages posted) I have a small home network set up. 4 pc's 2 with XP 2 with Vista Both XP boxes have printers attached. All 4 go through a router. All 4 can and do access the net. 3 of the machine can talk together (file & print sharing) the 4th (XP box) can talk to the other 3 but they can not talk back. They get messages about permissions. The unit with XP has file & print sharing enabled, the firewall has the file & print sharing allowed. I'm stumped.
