Get post! I wanted to see the power management tab in order turn off the power
to the USB ports when machine was turned off.
Your fix allowed the power management tab to display.
The "Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power" option remains greyed
out ... but by unchecking the "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby"
option the problem seems to have been solved.
