How to identify audio driver

I come across to many systems where the hard drive is formatted, windows installed but no installer (driver) cd to return back sound. Thanks to windows xp VGA, USB and many drivers are included, but the audio driver is required. I can find the same system model installer Cd but this is difficult. How can I identify the required audio driver cd in this formatted and windows installed system, so that I can go google and download the audio driver only, or look from other system's drivers? 10Q in advance.
