I am NOT careless with downloads, and there is NO WAY I am going to uncheck that 
option without knowing how to fix it first.

Having downloaded .exe files run automatically without some kind of manual authorization 
is nuts.  It's a huge security risk.  Any web page that you load, or hyperlink that 
you click on, will have free rein to load anything it wants to onto your computer.

But, I can see someone accidentally unchecking it, because it is awfully close to 
the Open button, which is why I wanted to find a solution before I ever make that 
mistake.
